A Safe Place to Thrive and Connect with our Roots.
Youth Enrichment
CPLC's Youth Enrichment programs help Phoenix and Tucson youth succeed.
We provide a safe and supportive environment while providing skills to help our community’s youth excel in school, college, and career.
Our approach helps youth reconnect with the teaching of their ancestors to orient themselves in the world. We incorporate indigenous ancestral knowledge to highlight universal values that exist across cultures and encourage youth to explore their cultural identity in an inclusive context. This strengths-based program empowers youth with the tools to build a foundation of healthy behaviors, a sense of purpose, and improved decision-making habits.
Our programs serve low-income neighborhoods experiencing high rates of crime, failing schools, and low rates of educational attainment.
Services include:
- After-school programs for children and teens such as literacy, STEM education, and teen wellness
