Family Assistance Services
Chicanos Por La Causa provides vulnerable communities with emergency hardship services and referrals. Under the Terri Cruz Family Assistance Program, these emergency services include APS and SRP utility assistance, funeral assistance, food box referrals, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) eligibility assistance and AHCCCS (Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System) referrals, as well as pandemic COVID-19- related resources.
These services are contingent upon funding availability, income verification, and COVID-19 qualifying factors as applicable by state, federal, and grant requirements.

We have exhausted SRP funds and are no longer accepting new applicants.
APS utility assistance has ended for this year effective December 5th. For utility assistance resources, please call 2-1-1 for a list of other agencies.
