APS Customers can receive assistance with past-due utility bills.
The Utility Assistance Program provides financial assistance of up to $800 for families who may be behind on their APS bill.
How to apply
To request APS Utility Assistance, call the following number on a Monday or Wednesday between 9am–12pm or 2pm–4pm or Friday between 9am–12pm:(602) 618-1974(Have you APS account number ready)
Pre-screening will be conducted to determine your eligibility
If you are eligible for APS utility assistance, a phone interview will be scheduled. Appointments are first-come-first-served.
There are specific qualifications for this assistance, so please have your documents available. You will need to provide:
Proof of ID
Current APS Bill
Proof of Hardship
Proof of income in any of the follwing: AHCCCS/Food Stamps award letter, Social Security payment award letter, or proof of income received in the past 30 days for any household member over the age of 18.
Any missing documents or missed appointments will delay the process, and you will be asked to reschedule.
