CPLC is the vehicle that will enable you to grow and develop personally and professionally while helping others throughout the community.

Who are we?

We are advocates with a causa to empower lives politically and economically in our community. Chicanos Por La Causa (CPLC) was founded in the late 1960s by a group of student activists fighting for education equity at Phoenix Union High School.

Our movement grew over the years, expanding our impact into five Southwestern US states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas. CPLC is committed to empowering individuals through health & human services, housing, education, economic development, and advocacy.
