CPLC Golf Tournament Funds 50 New Scholarships
11th Feb 2019
The 24th Annual CPLC Scholarship Golf Tournament, held on February 8th, raised enough funds to cover the cost of 50 new scholarships to students at Arizona State University and the Maricopa Community Colleges.
This event is the main fundraiser for CPLC’s Scholarship Program and is presented by Food City in partnership with BlueCross BlueShield of Arizona. Proceeds raised from this tournament helps talented and community-minded Latino students pursue their dream of a higher education.
“Higher education is a great equalizer that provides social and economic mobility and greater opportunities for success,” said David Adame, CPLC President & CEO. “Our partners share our commitment to invest in education and help develop a well-trained future workforce for Arizona. We value our partners’ continued support and participation in this premier scholarship golf tournament.”
Thank you to our sponsors, including BlueCross Blue Shield of Arizona, Lovitt & Touché, Crescent Crown, JP Griffin Group, Gila River Casino, ATI, Casino del Sol, Desert Diamond Casino, and First Bank.
