Valley Toyota Dealers Partners with CPLC to support Education

Valley Toyota Dealers consists of 10 Toyota dealers in the metropolitan Phoenix area, including AutoNation Toyota Tempe, Avondale, Bell Road, Big Two, Camelback, Earnhardt, Larry H. Miller, Right, Riverview and Toyota of Surprise. Since 1989, this association has been committed to providing their customers with the utmost expertise, knowledge and customer service available in the industry today.

Aside from providing its customers with the latest and greatest vehicle lineup, sparkling showrooms and exceptional service centers, the Valley Toyota Dealers remain committed to building better communities for those they serve. They are long-time partner of Chicanos Por La Causa and have donated more than half a million dollars to the organization over the years.

CPLC collaborated with the Valley Toyota Dealers for 15 years to host an annual neighborhood cleanup in the Valley. The Barrios Bellos program brought hundreds of volunteers together to clean and beautify a selected neighborhood in need of renovations. Through this partnership, the Valley Toyota Dealers have awarded thousands in funds for the program, in addition to donating two new Toyota Tundra trucks over the course of a decade for the organization’s use. They also helped sponsor CPLC’s annual Hole-in-One golf tournament for five years.

This year, the Valley Toyota Dealers are proud to once again partner with CPLC to continue serving the community, specifically high school graduates pursuing a postsecondary education. The dealers have donated $35,000 to fund scholarships for four Valley students attending Arizona State University through CPLC’s robust college scholarship program. The inaugural “Valley Toyota Dealers Scholars” are:

  • Alexis Torres of Phoenix, AZ, an incoming freshman who will be studying mechanical engineering
  • Connor Sapien of Phoenix, AZ, a sophomore studying computer sciences and cybersecurity
  • Nicole Mulvey of Gilbert, AZ, a junior studying mathematics with an emphasis in statistics
  • Isai Urate of Tolleson, AZ, a junior studying electrical engineering

Congratulations to this year’s Valley Toyota Dealers Scholars!
