"Christmas Angels" at CPLC Casa de Primavera

Chicanos Por La Causa was pleased to host Esperança's "Christmas Angels" program at our Casa de Primavera Senior Apartments!

Each year, Esperança hosts a “Christmas Angels” program to provide holiday gifts to those in need. This year, they we decided to focus on the senior population.

Coordinators from CPLC's Casa Primavera, Guadalupe Huerta, Casa Pedro Ruiz, and Paseo Abeytia decided that the biggest needs for their residents were blankets/shawls, slippers, and healing lotion. Esperança advertised and raised over $4,000 to sponsor 90 seniors and provide them with each of these items.  The sponsored seniors were all invited to Casa Primavera for the holiday party, for which Esperança provided a DJ and staff to hand out gifts.
