Healthcare Meets Housing

CPLC's innovative housing solution was featured last month in Managed Care Magazine.

Through a partnership with UnitedHealthcare, CPLC helps individuals and families experiencing housing instability or homelessness by providing them with safe, permanent housing at a price tailored to their budget.

One familiy in the program which was living on the Navajo Nation had been costing nearly $300,000 in a year in healthcare costs because their young daughter required frequent emergency helicopter rides to the hospital. By moving into a CPLC-owned housing facility, the family's healthcare costs reduced by at least two-thirds, and their access to care dramatically increased.
