Chicanos Por La Causa Inc. (CPLC) is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization and one of the largest Hispanic Community Development Corporations in the United States. The organization began with a group of student and community activists in 1967, and was incorporated and received non-profit status in 1969.

CPLC builds stronger, healthier communities by providing the opportunity for low-income people to learn the skills and develop the resources necessary to become self-sufficient, offering a hand-up rather than a hand-out. Our areas of focus are Economic Development, Education, Health & Human Services, and Housing.
